Photoshoot: Chung's Martial Arts Academy



Earlier on this month, I did a photoshoot for Chung's Martial Arts Academy. The photos were to be used on the Women's Self Defense and Street Survival seminar promotions. In shoots where the subject is constantly moving forward and back, I find that using a larger depth of field (stopping down) gave me one less thing to mind. I found it difficult to operate a reflecting device without a stand and boom arm, but I made do by placing an umbrella on the ground at an angle to give just enough fill light.

All in all, it was a great learning experience and I think I will be more prepared for such a shoot next time (especially now that I have a new light stand).






We proceeded to have a little bit of fun after all the main work was done.
